Sennheiser Communications A/S (Sennheiser Communications) rebrands in new set-up

Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG (Sennheiser) and William Demant Holdings A/S (Demant) see great opportunities lying ahead in all three business segments of Sennheiser Communications A/S (Sennheiser Communications). To be able to fullycapture these opportunities, both parties have the wish to dedicate their focus on different business segments with full end-to-end responsibility.

With effect from 2 March 2020, the joint venture between Sennheiser and Demant will end. The business segment of Mobile Music headsets will be part of the Sennheiser Consumer business, while the business segments of Enterprise Solutions and Gaming headsets will evolve as a new independent company, EPOS, under Demant. EPOS will manufacture, sell and cover all warranties for existing Sennheiser Communications portfolio for Enterprises and Gaming cobranded EPOS | SENNHEISER products, while also introducing a new EPOS branded portfolio.

The separation happens in good faith and the partners intend to continue their cooperation where synergies and opportunities exist.

For Sennheiser, the integration of the mobile music business segment is a further consequent step in focusing on its core competencies and fostering its independency as a family-owned company.
